future looks good from afar...

So we have some photos from our film clip shoot we just did for our first single "Good From Afar" from the album, The Rescue. We shot it at the old ballroom at Flinders St Station in Melbourne with our friend Toby Angwin and his crew. The ballroom hasn't been used in like 40 years for anything, and it's a really hard location to lock down. But Toby and Stewart at Soup Kitchen we're amazing enough to get the room for us, which was the best news ever.

The only hard parts were two things:

A) We had two days to source all our equipment and props because we all have such crazy schedules, and;
B) We had wake up at 6am to load a few trucks and cars worth of stuff up three flights and into the station. And, mostly notably;
C) Cripps got really drunk the night before and was feeling the pain.

Nonetheless we got there. As we loaded in all the gear across platform one and up the stairs, we saw the front cover of MX with Elora Danan on it. That made us laugh heaps. We got on the phone to our publicist demanding a cover but she said we have to wait.

Anyway, we did about 50 takes of the song. Our manager Luke was the ipod boy. He only stuffed up twice. Than he told us he hated the song cos he heard it too much. Our video guru, Matt Turnbull, filmed a bunch of stuff for the "Making Of Good From Afar" and our photo guru, Kane Hibberd, took a bunch of happy snaps.

And here they are, CLICK ON EACH THUMBNAIL TO SEE THE PHOTO
